FAQs

Why should I choose Sean PHysio & Performance ?

At Sean Physio & Performance, we understand how frustrating it is to be in pain and unsure how to fix it. We know how disheartening it feels to avoid your favourite activities out of fear of making things worse.

That’s why we’re committed to delivering high-level, personalized rehab, not just to get you pain-free, but to keep you there for the long run.

Whether your goal is to squat 200kg again or deadlift 4x your bodyweight, we’ll make sure your body is prepared to lift heavy, move well, and perform at its best.

Can I work with you to improve my movement even if i don’t have pain?

Yes! We highly encourage it too!

If you check our Instagram, we work with pain-free athletes to improve their movement quality, reduce stiffness and optimize performance.

Think of it like upgrading your engine, the better you move, the better you can produce force and less likely you are to get injured.

Do you only work with strength athletes?

Not at all! We work with all types of people! From strength athletes, to theatre performers and to older adults looking to stay active.

No matter your background, the core principles of rehab stay the same, and we’ll meet you exactly where you are.

So don’t feel like you can’t reach out if you don’t do a strength sport!

How many sessions will I need?

As a starting point, we typically recommend 6 sessions over 6 to 12 weeks. This gives us enough time to:

  • Build movement awareness

  • Reduce pain and discomfort

  • Gradually ramp up intensity to bridge the gap between rehab and performance

Everyone’s journey is different, but this framework helps us create lasting results, not just quick fixes.

What does 24/7 support include?

You will have direct access to your physiotherapist throughout your entire performance journey. That means you can reach out anytime with questions, concerns, form checks, or even small wins you want to share.

This ongoing two-way communication allows us to make real-time adjustments to your plan, so you are not stuck waiting until your next session to make progress.

What would a performance session involve?

If you haven’t had a discovery call, your first session will being with an initial consultation, where we discuss your unique situation. We will cover how the issue began, the affected area(s), and what your performance goals are.

We will then carry out a biomechanical assessment to identify movement inefficiencies or compensations that may be contributing to your problem.

Lastly we will build a personalized strategy together and start executing the treatment right away.

However, if you are booking a follow up, we will start with a quick check-in and then go straight to treatment and rehab.

Will you actually be able to help me?

If you have any concerns or doubts, we highly recommend a free discovery call. It’s a chance for us to have an in-depth chat about your unique situation, goals and any concerns you might have at no cost to you!

This call helps us decide if we’re a good match to work together, and it means we can spend more time on treatment and rehab in your first session, since much of the initial consultation will be covered.
